Maple Lane Pottery is made from stoneware clay and each piece is hand made by potter Robbi Fritz Portela. The work that Robbi produces is both functional and very durable. She strives to make pottery that is both beautiful and highly resilient Robbi has a studio in the ell of the farmhouse which is over 100 years old. The pottery is fired in two types of kilns, an electric kiln in the studio or a downdraft gas kiln behind Robbi's studio. She sells her work in many area shops and galleries. You may also call and stop by the gallery at Maple Lane Farm. The gallery is located in the three story barn that was moved from Hallowell, Maine approximately sixty years ago. You will also find antiques and other fine gifts at the gallery.
